The Kendall SCD 700 series controller with Kendall SCD garments is a very good choice for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) prevention applications: It performs as expected on both line power and battery power, offers many safety features, and is flexible in terms of purchasing options, garment selection, and transportation. When used with its foot garments, the SCD 700 can also be used for reducing edema (acute and chronic), healing leg ulcers, preventing venous stasis, managing pain due to trauma, and enhancing circulation.
