​Survey results find that patients seeking new primary care physicians focus most on insurance network eligibility, out-of-pocket cost, and convenient location. But issues with a physician's attitude, level of competency, and the facility's quality may cause patients to switch. Those findings are reported in a study by Weatherby Healthcare released April 25, 2017. Authors of the study gathered nearly 500 responses with the goal of pinpointing how patients educate themselves and decision-making factors they consider when selecting their primary care.
