AHRQ Provides Tools, Offers Workshop to Support SHARE Approach Initiative

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is providing new tools and offering a free workshop to support healthcare providers who seek to use patient-centered outcomes research findings in shared decision making. The tools are part of the agency's SHARE Approach initiative, a five-step process for shared decision making that includes exploring and comparing the benefits, harms, and risks of each treatment option through meaningful dialogue about what matters most to the patient.
