AHRQ-Funded Tool Examines Ambulatory Surgery Center Infection Prevention

Researchers studying surgical site infections in ambulatory surgery found five factors that increase risk of infection and suggest an intervention to lessen this risk. These findings, part of research sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), were published online in April 2013.
