A Healthcare Risk Control (HRC) System member recently asked for HRC’s recommendations regarding the use of treadmills in bariatric surgery programs.
The member’s facility is considering developing an exercise program for bariatric surgical patients. According to the HRC member, one goal is to incorporate treadmills into the hospital’s program so that patients develop a sense of and commitment to exercise.
