Preview

  • The Mammomat Revelation provides 2-D, synthesized 2-D, and 3-D images of the breast for screening or diagnosis of breast cancer. In tomosynthesis (3-D) mode, the system generates a series of 2-D images through the breast.
  • Supplementary uses of the system are diagnostic procedures and dual-energy imaging, as well as biopsy procedures, which must be performed under the supervision of medical professionals. The InSpect feature for the Mammomat Revelation with High-Definition (HD) Biopsy options is intended to provide digital x-ray images of core biopsy specimens in order to allow rapid verification that the correct tissue has been excised with the biopsy procedure.
