Preview
- The Revolution EVO has a continuously rotating x-ray source and detector array. It can be used as a whole-body CT scanner for general imaging use, and it offers options for cardiac, pediatric, oncology, vascular, orthopedic, and neuro imaging.
- Major components and software features:
- X-ray generator: The system is equipped with a generator with a power rating of 72 kW.
- X-ray tube: Performix 40 Plus
- Tube voltage: 80 to 140 kVp in 20 kVp steps
- Tube current: 10 to 560 mA
- Tube heat capacity: 7,000,000 HU (heat units)
- Tube heat dissipation rate: 1,070,000 HU/min
- Detector: Highlight Clarity (ceramic scintillator) provides high-contrast spatial resolution and keeps the signal noise low. It has 64 detectors that can generate 128 slices per rotation.
- Patient table:
- Table height: 43 to 99 cm (17 to 39 in)
- Weight capacity: 227 kg (500 lb); optional capacity up to 306 kg (675 lb)
- Gantry:
- Patient aperture: 70 cm (27.5 in)
- Scan field: 50 cm (19.6 in)
- Rotation speed: 0.4 to 2.0 sec
- Major software components available as standard:
- Smart Flow Technologies with Xtream display: Enables hands-free patient positioning, exam prescription from the patient's side, integrated injections, real-time reconstruction of up to 55 images during the scan with Image Check, and access to advanced applications on the console
- Dual-energy imaging: Allows configuration of back-to-back axial or helical scans of the same anatomy at two different x-ray energies (kVp)
- MAR: Metal artifact reduction
- Smart Dose Technology (a) CT 4kids: Dose-optimized pediatric reference scan protocols
