AHRQ Releases TeamSTEPPS 2.0 for Long-Term Care Facilities

​The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has updated its TeamSTEPPS training with additional scenarios specific to long-term care settings, improved “usability and flow of materials," and a new module to track progress, according to an AHRQ press release. The first installation of TeamSTEPPS for Long-Term Care was released to the public in 2012, and has since been updated with the 2.0 release. According to AHRQ, TeamSTEPPS 2.0 for Long-Term Care is a “flexible training kit" that provides source files to encourage customization to better suit the needs of individual facilities.
