​A jury verdict in favor of a defendant nursing home was sustained after an unsuccessful appeal by the plaintiff to overturn the verdict. The Appellate Court of Illinois, fourth district, reviewed the evidence submitted to the jury, including the contrary opinions provided by the plaintiff and defense expert witnesses, and concluded that the evidence did not overwhelmingly favor the plaintiff.
