OSHA Record Keeping: Enforcement of Antiretaliation Provisions Delayed until November

​The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced on July 13, 2016, that it will delay enforcement of the antiretaliation provisions for its injury and illness record-keeping standard until November 1, 2016. The final rule would prohibit employers from discouraging workers from reporting an injury or illness and would require employers to inform employees of their right to report injuries and illness free from retaliation.
