Department of Labor Delays Release of Maximum Civil Monetary Penalties, But Posts Pre-Published Version Online

Due to a lapse in federal funding, publication in the Federal Register of a final rule from the U.S. Department of Labor adjusting its maximum civil monetary penalties for 2019 has been delayed, the department announced on January 15, 2019. The department has, however, made a pre-published version of the final rule available on its website for informational purposes until the Federal Register can publish it.
