Guidelines from the CDC and Joint Commission recommend that alcohol-based rubs, soap and water, as well as sterile gloves be used in an effort to protect patients. To ensure hand hygiene compliance there are a number of methods and technologies that can be employed. One popular technology-based method is the use of RFID tracking.
