New Infection Control Resources for Outpatient Settings from CDC, Joint Commission

​The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Joint Commission have released two new resources on infection control, including a new guide to infection prevention in outpatient podiatry settings and a new guide to infection prevention in orthopedic and pain management office settings. The resources offer key recommendations, as well as information on education and training, safe injection practices, medical device reprocessing, environmental cleaning, and more.
