Roughly 4% of family physicians and 21% of pediatricians responding to a survey "often" or "always" refuse to care for children whose parents refuse to vaccinate them, finds a study published October 28, 2015, in Pediatrics. Researchers examined survey responses from 534 family physicians and pediatricians and found that almost every physician encountered families that refused pediatric vaccinations.
