USPSTF Advises Screening All Women of Reproductive Age for Intimate Partner Violence

​​Clinicians should screen all women of reproductive age for intimate partner violence and refer those who test positive to support services, states a final recommendation from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). The recommendation is consistent with the group's 2013 guidance. In addition, it incorporates new evidence released since 2013 and offers more information on the types of ongoing support services that appear associated with positive outcomes.
