​​A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advisory committee recommends homeless people age one year or older should be routinely vaccinated against the hepatitis A virus, according to an October 26, 2018, article in Physician's First Watch. The recommendation, backed by a unanimous vote from CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, is expected to be adopted by CDC, according to a related October 24, 2018, CNN article, and would add homeless people to the list of at-risk groups eligible for vaccination.
