​The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a health advisory to raise awareness and increase reporting of a neurologic syndrome of unknown origin that was found in nine children residing in Colorado. Working closely with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Children's Hospital Colorado, CDC is investigating the incidence of the condition, characterized by focal limb weakness and abnormalities of the spinal cord gray matter visible on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams.
