AMA Offers Customizable Tools to Help Physicians Participate in MIPS

​The American Medical Association (AMA) released a set of customizable tools to help physicians navigate the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Physicians that report one quality measure in 2017 can avoid a 4% penalty to their Medicare reimbursement in 2019, says AMA, and others may qualify for incentive payments.
