Only 8% of U.S. Adults Age 35 or Older Get All Recommended Preventive Services, Study Finds

​In 2015, just 8% of U.S. adults age 35 or older received all preventive services that are highly recommended for them, and nearly 5% did not receive any of these services, according to a study published in the June 2018 issue of Health Affairs. Overall, approximately 22% of adults received between 76% and 100% of the preventive services recommended for them. About 16% of adults received up to a quarter of recommended preventive services. Overall, men were about twice as likely as women to receive 25% or fewer of recommended services.
