NIOSH Warns of Counterfeit “NIOSH-Approved” Respirator on the Market

​The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) alerted healthcare providers and facilities about a counterfeit N95 respirator on the market, which has not been approved by NIOSH and is being misrepresented as an approved respirator. The unapproved product can be identified as counterfeit by a missing "O" in the NIOSH acronym printed on the front of the respirator.
