Surgeon Appears in Video Court While in OR with Patient on Operating Table

A California plastic surgeon attended a video traffic-court hearing from the operating room (OR) while dressed in scrubs and with a patient on a surgical table, says a February 28, 2021, article in the New York Times. After the judge asked the surgeon if he was in an OR, the surgeon responded that he was, explaining that there was another surgeon in the OR who could perform the procedure and that he was available for trial, the Times says.
