ECRI Institute Joins New National Patient Safety Collaborative with Joint Commission and Others

ECRI Institute has joined with other influential national patient safety organizations in a new National Patient Safety Collaborative, organized by Joint Commission. Announced January 17, 2018, in Joint Commission Online, the project will allow member organizations to engage in cooperative work on patient safety issues of mutual concern, enhancing the efforts of the individual organizations. Other organizations joining the collaborative include the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation; the Institute for Safe Medication Practices; and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
