Armedica—AM-BA Series Treatment Tables: Unintentional Activation of Control Bar May Lead to Entrapment

In an Important Safety Notice letter submitted by an ECRI Institute member hospital, Armedica states that entrapment and serious injury may occur if the tables listed below are unintentionally lowered by pushing down the control bar. Armedica also states that it has received 2 reports of cases in which an individual who was seated in a chair next to the table placed a foot on the control bar, causing the table to lower.
