American Geriatrics Society Releases Practice Guideline on Postoperative Delirium

​A new practice guideline addressing postoperative delirium in older adults is available from the American Geriatrics Society. Developed by a multi-specialty, multi-disciplinary expert panel, the Clinical Practice Guideline for Postoperative Delirium in Older Adults is designed to enable healthcare organizations to implement actionable, evidence-based measures to improve the clinical care of adults age 65 and older through the prevention and treatment of delirium in the postoperative setting.
