CMS Final Rule 2019 Update Addresses Physician Fee Schedule, Expands Telehealth Coverage

​The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on November 1, 2018, published its final rule to update the Physician Fee Schedule for calendar year 2019. The 2019 update will include payment and policy changes to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, put in place certain provisions of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 and SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act, and revise policies under the Medicare Shared Savings Program.
