Joint Commission Launches Workplace Violence Online Resource Center

​In response to statistics showing higher rates of workplace violence in healthcare settings, Joint Commission announced on October 4, 2016, the launch of an online resource center for workplace violence prevention. Its accredited healthcare organizations and advisory committee members identified the need for additional resources to mitigate workplace violence in healthcare settings, Joint Commission said. The resource includes "includes easy-to-access policies, procedures, guidelines, research, case studies, white papers, toolkits and other materials focused on workplace violence prevention and preparedness."
