The U.S. House of Representatives and Senate have passed legislation to combat the nation's opioid epidemic, according to a September 25, 2018, press release by the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Now in its final iteration, the Opioid Crisis Response Act of 2018 passed through the House of Representatives on September 28, 2018.
