A newborn suffered hypoxia after an intern and an attending physician failed to take action to address signs of fetal distress. In a lawsuit the mother brought against the hospital in Michigan state court, the parties have settled for $3,150,000, according to an article in the July 2022 issue of Medical Malpractice Verdicts, Settlements & Experts.
