Cancer care patients and their family members prioritize quality communication and relationships with providers over safety concerns, according to a study in the October 2017 issue of the Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety. The authors conducted a content analysis of outpatient complaints made to a large cancer institute in Boston during 2013 and 2014.
