Joint Commission Proposes Revisions and Additions to Medication Management Standards

​The Joint Commission is proposing changes to its Medication Management accreditation standards, states a September 1, 2016, update on its website. According to the update, the Medication Management standards are undergoing routine maintenance to ensure that they "address quality and patient safety issues that have emerged from the field in recent years."
