The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is inviting public comments on its recently published draft 2017 Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA), according to an August 22, 2016, post on HealthIT.gov. Part of the ongoing implementation of ONC's Nationwide Interoperability Roadmap, the ISA is a catalogue of standards and implementation specifications that the health information technology (IT) industry can use to meet interoperability needs. The draft reflects public comments from earlier in 2016 and deliberations by the Health IT Standards Committee. "The input and feedback we have received from across the health IT spectrum on earlier ISA versions has helped us continue to shape the ISA into an effective resource and guide for all who are engaged in interoperability work," the post states.
