AHA Guide Provides Leadership Resources to Promote Patient and Family Engagement

The American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellence initiative has issued a new guide to help hospital leaders promote patient and family engagement in their organizations. Built on previous work by AHA and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, A Leadership Resource for Patient and Family Engagement Strategies provides hospital and health system leaders with practical, evidence-based steps to improve patient and family engagement in their organizations.
