The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General (OIG) is revising its List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) database to include new information for users. OIG has added three additional fields to the LEIE Downloadable Database and its related monthly supplements: national provider identifier, waiver, and waiver state. To allow users time to work with the new fields while still having access to the files to which they are accustomed, OIG will post files without the new fields in addition to files with the new fields through August 2013.
