Guidebook Complements Existing Resources to Help Organizations Become More Health Literate

​A new guidebook is available from UnityPoint Health to help healthcare organizations engage in organizational change to become more health literate. Expanding on the attributes described in the Institute of Medicine's paper Ten Attributes of Health Literate Health Care Organizations, the guidebook Building Health Literate Organizations: A Guidebook to Achieving Organizational Change is designed to complement existing health literacy resources, helping organizations use them effectively and reliably, and includes background, resources, and examples.
