CIHQ Becomes Newest Hospital Accrediting Organization after CMS Approval

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has granted deemed status to the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ) as a national accrediting organization for hospitals that wish to participate in the Medicare or Medicaid programs, states a final notice published in the July 26, 2013, Federal Register.
