Updated Ebola Guidance for EDs Reflects End of Outbreak in Liberia

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its guidance for the evaluation and management of patients presenting to the emergency department (ED) with Ebola-like symptoms who traveled from West Africa within the previous 21 days. Specifically, the guidelines were changed for patients who have recently traveled from Liberia, where last month officials declared that the outbreak had ended.
