Hospital Must Produce Electronic Audit Trail in Case Involving Postsurgical Ischemic Injury

In a lawsuit alleging failure to timely diagnose and treat a patient's postsurgical ischemic injury, the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division, granted the plaintiff's motion to compel the defendant hospital to produce the audit trail of his records for a period of 17 days. In so ruling, the court reversed the trial court's order denying the motion.
