In a March 16, 2012, Urgent Medical Device Recall letter submitted by an ECRI Institute member hospital, Terumo states that it has received reports of instances in which the roller pumps below displayed a "pump jam" message and stopped while in use. Terumo states that pump jam is more likely to occur when using the 6-inch roller pump than when using the 4-inch roller pump for dual-sized tube set cardioplegia delivery.
