In a March 6, 2015, Urgent Voluntary Medical Device Recall letter submitted by an ECRI Institute member hospital, AngioDynamics states that the power-injectable PICCs contained in the kits below may exhibit a higher-than-anticipated rate of extension tube fracture or leakage, potentially necessitating replacement of the catheter.
