The Joint Commission is seeking input from the field on proposed requirements that address the qualifications and competency for radiologists who provide diagnostic computed tomography (CT) services, states a February 27, 2014, update to the “Standards Field Reviews” section of the agency’s website. Specifically, the requirements address the qualifications and experience that radiologists must possess when a facility grants them initial privileges and when their privileges are renewed.
