In a Septemeber 21, 2011, Product Correction letter submitted by an ECRI Institute member hospital, Beckman Coulter states that the cap/closure assemblies below may cause the above bottles to craze, stretch, and/or crack. Bottle crazing, stretching or cracking may result in the loss of sample into the centrifuge chamber, potentially creating a biohazard or chemical hazard.
