In a February 5, 2015, Quality Advisory letter submitted by an ECRI Institute member hospital, PDC Healthcare states that the wristband sets below may have duplicate serial numbers. PDC Healthcare also states that if the above wristbands are used as the primary identifier to link a mother and newborn, this problem may lead to misidentification of the wristband users.
