A Kentucky jury has awarded more than $3.9 million to the estate of a man who died in the intensive care unit (ICU) a month after rotator cuff surgery when his tracheotomy dislodged and there was a delay in resuscitating him, according to an article in the November 2022 Medical Malpractice Verdicts, Settlements & Experts.
