New Risk Analysis Offers Resources for Implementing or Improving a Palliative Care Program

A new Risk Analysis, part of the March 2012 Healthcare Risk Control (HRC) System mailing, is now available on the HRC members’ website. Palliative Care Programs discusses hospital-based and outpatient palliative care programs for adult and pediatric patients. The Risk Analysis also provides information about tools and resources that risk managers can use to determine if their facilities have the capacity to provide palliative care and to encourage and guide their facilities in developing and implementing a palliative care program.
