ACIP Releases Updated Immunization Schedules Covering People of All Ages

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has published two updated recommended immunization schedules, states a supplement to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s February 1, 2013, Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. The first immunization schedule, for persons age 18 or younger, includes a regular recommended schedule as well as a “catch-up” schedule for children who miss the recommended window for certain vaccinations. The schedules are available in various printable formats, including a parent-friendly version that is easier to understand.
