OSHA Cites Minnesota VA Facility for Safety and Health Violations

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has cited a Minnesota U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facility for unsafe and unhealthful working conditions, states a January 18, 2012, OSHA regional news release. Following an inspection conducted in July 2011 as part of OSHA's Federal Agency Targeting Inspection Program, the facility was cited for 19 safety and health violations, including 10 repeat violations for which VA facilities in Minnesota, Illinois, and Ohio, had previously been cited.
