Hospital Cuts Tie With Resident after Discovering Anti-Semitic Social Media Posts

​An Ohio hospital had terminated its working relationship with a first-year resident when it learned about her anti-Semitic social media posts, which would eventually go viral online, according to a January 2, 2019, article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The resident tweeted, among other remarks, that she would "purposely give all the Jewish patients the wrong meds," according to a January 2, 2019, article in the Daily Mail. The hospital stated it had already discovered the resident's social media post, conducted an internal review, and placed her on administrative leave in September, the Plain Dealer said.
