The Adventist Health System Patient Safety Organization (PSO) has two hurdles to overcome before it can open the proverbial floodgates: helping 36 member hospitals get their patient safety evaluation systems (PSESs) fully operational and reviewing all of their quality-related patient events since September of 2009 for reporting to the PSO.
