​​​​To protect workers and avoid citations and penalties, employers that have any employees with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens need to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) bloodborne pathogens standard (29 CFR § 1910.1030). One major component required by the standard is training each employee with occupational exposure. The standard specifies when and how the training must be provided and outlines topics that must be covered.

Members may use this training program to support compliance with the bloodborne pathogens standard’s training requirements.
