Two recent Biomedtalk discussions (here and here) have addressed the challenges of performing incoming electrical safety checks on rented equipment when it arrives—sometimes from other facilities or satellite locations. As one Biomedtalker commented, such equipment "seems to always come at the worst time," disrupting the department's work schedules.
